With a remarkable achievement of crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Colben has cemented his status as an experienced sailor. Driven by a desire for adventure, he embarked on an unforgettable two-year journey, sailing around South America and the Caribbean on their personal yacht. Teagan grew up in a small town called the Dolphin Coast in South Africa. Teagan had the opportunity to experience an incredible journey across the Atlantic Ocean, where an 18-day voyage brought the thrill of the sea to life, followed by another 18 days out on the open waters before arriving in vibrant Brazil.

For several years, Teagan sailed between the picturesque shores of South America and the Caribbean, immersing in diverse cultures and savoring the culinary delights of each destination. Believing that good food is a crucial part of any vacation, Teagan looks forward to sharing these delightful culinary experiences with others, ensuring that every meal is a memorable part of the journey.

With a knack for organizing and planning, Teagan thrives on creating unforgettable experiences for friends, family, and travelers alike.

Married to Colben for five wonderful years, their partnership has blossomed into a series of exciting adventures, filled with love and exploration. A true host at heart, Teagan takes great joy in making others feel welcome and comfortable—no request is ever too much.

From the moment we stepped on board, you were welcoming and warm while setting the standards for safety and setting proper expectations for the week.

You listened! Every detail from food and drink to the itinerary were well thought out based on our input. It felt like we designed the vacation of our dreams and you seamlessly executed on the vision.

Teigan, the food was excellent from start to finish. Every plate was finished, every time, and even the picky eaters were accommodated and thrilled with the choices. No request went unmet and you consistently went out of your way to please us. You fit right in with the group and we enjoyed getting to know you and your journey. Everything on the boat was immaculate and we could really feel your passion for what you do. And the cocktails - Wow!

Colben, you were the consummate professional. We were always well informed, and you helped us to understand the pros and cons of itinerary choices clearly and without prejudice. We had faith in you as a captain and dive master that we would have great experiences and you would keep us all safe. You made sure we were always having fun and seeing the best the BVI had to offer. Your calm demeanor was amazing and appreciated and we loved to be around you.

I also want to thank you for coming up with some creative ways to celebrate Shannon and Jack's engagement and our Captains party - you made it that much more special!

Schloemann Charter

I am writing to share our outstanding experience with Teagan Holmes and Colben Holmes, who recently served as our crew on an unforgettable seven-day sailing trip.

Colben was an incredible captain. His sailing expertise was exceptional, and his boat-handling skills were equally impressive. Throughout the week, he did everything possible to ensure we had an amazing time—taking us to and from various islands and events and helping us plan each day’s activities. What stood out most was how wonderfully he engaged with our kids, aged 12 and 13. He spent hours snorkeling and paddle boarding with them, keeping them safe while also pointing out marine life. Our kids had the time of their lives, and we credit Colben for making that possible. Beyond his professionalism, he was simply a friendly, down-to-earth guy who we genuinely enjoyed being around.

Teagan brought warmth and hospitality that made us feel completely at home. Her meals were outstanding—beautifully prepared, flavorful, and thoughtful. I follow a very strict no-carbohydrate diet and insisted she not go out of her way for me. Despite my request, she always created something special, and it was absolutely delicious. She’s an incredibly thoughtful host. The boat itself was always spotless, a reflection of her and Colben’s work ethic and pride in what they do. I honestly don’t know how they maintained such a high level of service—from early mornings to late evenings—every single day, and always with smiles and warmth.

This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had, and much of that is because of Teagan and Colben. We would absolutely seek them out as our crew again on a future trip, which we fully expect to take.

A dream vacation in the BVI

Our catamaran trip through the British Virgin Islands was truly the experience of a lifetime! From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear we were in for something extraordinary. The boat was pristine, the scenery was breathtaking, and the hospitality? Absolutely unmatched.

Captain Colben was the heart of the voyage—knowledgeable, professional, and warm. His calm confidence and deep understanding of the islands made us feel safe and completely at ease. Whether he was navigating to a secluded cove or sharing local stories, Colben was the epitome of gracious leadership. Every detail was handled seamlessly, allowing us to relax, explore, and soak in the magic of the BVIs.

And then there’s Chef Teigan—what a treasure! Every meal was a masterpiece. Her culinary talent is only matched by her kind spirit and effortless charm. From vibrant breakfasts to elegant dinners under the stars, Teigan consistently amazed us with delicious, creative dishes that rivaled any five-star restaurant. She took our preferences to heart and added personal touches that made every bite feel special.

The level of hospitality we experienced on this trip was truly five-star. Colben and Teigan anticipated our every need, created a warm and welcoming environment, and treated us like royalty—yet it always felt like being among friends.

If you’re considering a catamaran trip in the BVIs, don’t think twice. This was perfection on the water, and we’ll be dreaming about it until we can return again.

Thank you for showing us all the best spots and guiding our trip so seamlessly. Vacation is all about getting into relaxation mode and I guarantee that that was accomplished for each member onboard. We had the perfect mixture of adventure, quality time, activities and getting a glimpse on the bvi. After every meal we talked about how delicious it was for at least an hour! The family members onboard range from 13 - 60 and everyone said the same thing about what an incredible experience they had and that is a kudos to Colben and Teagan. This was the best trip we have ever been on.

Awesome charter group ! Very dedicated to having fun in the sun. Scuba divers, night divers, snorkelers, hikers, sailboat racers, (we won) karaoke singers, guitar players, paddle boarders, subwing riders, catch phrase players, contract rummy players and music dancers ! You name it they were all about it. Chef Sylvie knocked it out of the park with her cooking. Everything was perfect, even watching the rocket launce from Cape Canaveral !!!





Murry Group Perryville charter

Repeat guest, with a thirst for Mich Ultra, their new group name is the 14 case crew. They enjoyed the snorkeling, scuba, karaoke, paddle boarding, Willy T, G swing, the Bathes, Anagada lobster, singing to the guitar, Sylvie's cooking, and Diane's mermaid outfit ! What a wonderful time with a wonderful group !

Just wanted to send a thank you and are appreciation of how our trip went. It was definitely a bucket list filled and checked off item but hopefully get to do it again as it was truly a joy to sail with you and Sylvie. You definitely made us feel like part of the Devine family and we really appreciate that. I'll let you know around the first of the year if we can make the August trip but I would like to say on a preliminary basis we definitely want to do it because we always go somewhere in the Caribbean for anniversary. Unbelievable trip

We would absolutely do this trip again on Devine Sailing. Meals were outstanding, the crew magnificent, the fun and laughs were so much appreciated....we needed this ! Chef Reis goes out of her way to make the best food, with lots of love. Capt. Ray shares so much information about the area, you can tell he knows what he is doing. BTW, the scuba diving was awesome. Not sure where we start. Of all catamarans trips we have done, this is by far te best one. You both fit in so well in our group,like family. I am already sad that in 24 hours we will be leaving the boat. Ray Devine is extremely lucky to have 2 incredible people who are so passionate & caring. One of the best trips ever. We had a group of 8 and with most of us being boaters, some of us were concerned about having enough room for all of us on a 50’ boat. That was not an issue at all. The boat is very wide and spacious. The cabins have plenty of room & each has its own bathroom. The crew were amazing and have the local knowledge of the best places to see and to anchor. The food was great, before the trip we let them know our basic preferences & each night we were pleasantly surprised with what the chef created for us. They just took care of everything so our only job was to relax. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing vacation...

This trip was the most amazing vacation I've taken. I've been 3 times with Devine sailing and you really cannot beat the pricing for the awesome experience. If you want to have an island getaway without all the people, this is it. Staying on the boat for a week is just what my soul needs each time to literally let it all go. I highly recommend Devine sailing, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, St. John, and St. Thomas, the amazing beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving, and the quaint little bars, shops, and restaurants you get to visit while aboard the Devine's boat. The trip really was Devine each time!
