Captain Vangelis Patrikis has been captain of our previous catamaran since 2009. He has extensive experience and passion for the sea and is excited to welcome you aboard our new catamaran Elvira 52 for the new season. He holds an A’ Class Master Captain’s License and has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses, located in Chios, Greece. Captain Vangelis also holds a diploma of offshore sailing, of advanced medical and a life safety certificate. He was introduced to the yachting industry in 1996 when he started being the captain on various motor yachts and sailing vessels and, thus, he has been entertaining visitors for the past 20 years! Captain Vangelis’ passion is to ensure that each and every guest’s need is catered to and all aboard the luxurious catamarans feel safe and secure while cruising through the beautiful Greek Archipelago. He has tremendous knowledge about each Greek island and loves to pass his knowledge to his guests! He speaks English, basic Portuguese and Greek.
Cook/Hostess - Lia Kokotsiou
Introducing Lia, the culinary artist and gracious hostess aboard the luxurious catamaran Elvira 52. With a passion for creating exquisite dishes and a talent for hospitality, Lia brings a touch of elegance and warmth to every dining experience on board.
She is originally from the island of Corfu, she has an extensive experience in hospitality over 20years.
Her creative flair shines through in every meal she prepares, from delectable Greek specialties to gourmet delights that cater to every palate. As both a skilled cook and a charming hostess, Lia ensures that guests aboard the Elvira 52 are treated to a culinary journey that is as unforgettable as the stunning views that surround them. Join Lia on a gastronomic adventure at sea, where every bite is a taste of perfection and every moment is filled with joy and delight. She speaks fluent English and Italian.
Deckhand - Chris Patrikis
Meet Chris, the versatile and dedicated deckhand/stew service onboard the luxurious catamaran Elvira 52. With a background in both maritime operations and hospitality, Chris seamlessly combines his skills to provide guests with a top-notch experience on the open seas. As a deckhand, Chris ensures the smooth operation of the vessel, from navigating the waters to maintaining the exterior of the catamaran. His attention to detail and commitment to safety make him an invaluable member of the crew.
In his role as a service stew, Chris goes above and beyond to cater to the needs of guests, whether it’s preparing delicious cocktails or providing impeccable service with a smile. His friendly and approachable demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere onboard, where guests feel pampered and well taken care of. Chris speaks very good English and a bit of German.

There has been no better way to see the Greek Islands than on Elvira 52. Sight seeing in beautiful, historic towns, swimming in picturesque coves, lounging on the boat enjoying lots of laughs and chats with friends. The meals were THE BEST! Lia is an amazing cook. Chris made sure we were always taken care of. Captain of course kept us safe with a smooth cruise during our trip.We look forward to coming back again!

Everyone has said it all! The three of you spoiled us rotten! Lia's cooking is the best in all of Greece. Captain V is a solid man of the sea. Christos keeps everything running smoothly. Ah la la, Elvira team..So many things to say, not enough words to verbalize it. Third time spendinga summer with you and once again , it didn't dissapoint. We are getting out of this experience full of memories. It has been for all of us incredibly, revitelizing and enriching. The landscapes were , indeed, unforgettable! We journeyed through the Cyclades with the Elvira 52 from the 3rd week in July of 2025.Parents and 3 children. This has been a life experience as a family. Our first journey to Greece. Lia, Christos and Captain were the driving force of this anchor experience for our family. From the larger ports of Siros and Poros to the small bays of Sifnos and family tavernas (our favorite) along the way, the Elvira made this everything we have hoped for. They crew with love. It's been like a journey with family. Our 11 year old son is in tears at the end of our journey. Thank you for sharing this journey with us!

We came to celebrate my daughters college graduation with some of her friends and their moms, 10 of us. We had the time of our lives! We were lucky to be able to travel to the Cyclades and it was incredible! The crew,Captain V,Lia and Chris were truly,amazing and made our trip so much better! We will be back!A once in a lifetime experience! We had the best time with the crew, they were all amazing. I will miss Lia's cooking, it was incredible.The places we stopped were beautiful. Will definitely be back and hope to do it again with the same crew.

We had such a great time visiting islands all around Greece!! There was a variety of different,beautiful beaches. Some with other yachts (if you're wanting to meet people and party) and others completely secluded and private.Our captain had vast knowledge of the area.
Our chef was amazing, she made use of all of the food cooking things on the fly and re-using ingredients.Demonstrating her expertise. Everything she cooked was delicious!!! We were never hungry.
And our deckhand gave us everything we needed at anytime! Water sports,drinks entertainment!He is a jack of all trades!!
Wow! i don't have enough amazing words to say about this crew,this experience,the food, and everything in between!Leah,Chris, and Captain V were more than phenomenal. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!They made our trip truly unforgettable and unique. I will miss them and this fabulous boat!!!

The experience and expertise of this crew is top notch. Captain V took us into so many beautiful ports with great recommendations for delicious food and beautiful sights. Lia is an amazing cook. We got such a wonderful variety. She introduced us to local cuisine and made special meals , suited perfectly for us. Christos was a wonderful person to complete our crew. He is entertaining and has a joyful heart. It has been an absolutely perfect voyage through the Mediterranean Sea. I will be recommending this catamaran and the crew to all my friends.

The only part of the journey more magical than the Cyclades was the crew. From the food to the company to the unexpected number of laughs. Dear Elvira guest ,we have had a wonderful 14day cruise. Captain Vangelis is a very experienced sailor who knows the islands like the back of his hand. Listen to his advice and recommendations. He is 3-5 days ahead on the weather and will always seek protected waters for you. He understands the history of the islands and will make great recommendations of where to visit.
Christos , deckhand ( and a very good mimic! ), will fulfil your every need , drinks , towel , transport to & from islands. He has a great sense of humor and will seek your assistance to look for mermaids !!
Then we have Lia, the cook , and what a cook , you will only have great meals through out the islands.
All traditionally prepared. Don't pick your menu or stick with your usual! Let Lia prepare for you the most marvelous traditional Greek food you can imagine! The crew will serve you and provide for your safety, they will enhance your journey through those beautiful islands!
