After years of global exploration, Captain Bryan has found his true home on the stunning waters of the Virgin Islands. His path to the helm was anything but ordinary—driven by a deep sense of curiosity and a passion for meaningful experiences.
Bryan’s wanderlust first took him through Mexico and Chile, where he worked as a volunteer, and later to England and Spain, where he studied philosophy and law. He spent over a decade practicing as an attorney in the windy city of Chicago before trading his suit for sea boots and heading north to try his hand at commercial salmon fishing in Alaska. But it was in 2016, after relocating to St. Thomas, that the sea truly called him. When hurricanes Irma and Maria swept through the Caribbean two years later, they gave Bryan what he calls his “Category-5 nudge” to finally pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a captain.
Since then, Captain Bryan has charted a successful course in the yachting world—logging over 1,000 charters and welcoming more than 6,300 guests aboard. Known for his calm professionalism, thoughtful hospitality, and wealth of nautical knowledge, he consistently earns five-star reviews and guest praise.

We loved all the snorkeling . . . but especially The Baths, the short but adventurous hike at Bitter End, jumping off Willy T's, every white sand beach, and every last meal. . . . Another vote for "trip of a lifetime." Capt. Bryan knew all the secrets for getting us in on the best experiences, it meant early mornings for him, but we had the best parking spots to beat the crowds. So many, many memories: seabobbing is a must, you'll have a permanent smile on your face; The Baths early to get that Victoria's Secret shot. Willy T's, boobs out; hitting all the bars with all the stickers; and Lelani's bright, beautiful personality in cooking.Having Captain Bryan (who is awesome) get up and moving early gets you the best spots and mooring balls, so get your butts out of bed because, the "Early birds get the ball!"

Everything was absolutely the best vacation ever! We have dreamed of this and loved every minute. We had a WONDERFUL time! The boat layout of Kasiopeja was perfect. Captain Owen & Chef Joseph were both outstanding. Owen's sailing skills and command of the boat were obvious. He gave a great perspective on the BVI with his experience over the years. Joseph's meals and drinks were awesome, 5 stars. A lot of care and detail went into the creation of each plate. Both were very attentive and responsive whenever any question or concern came up. Personally, they were engaging, entertaining, and fun. Favorite memory:Snorkeling in anagada conch island tour!
Our week with Capitan Owen and chef Joe was nothing short of perfect. From the second we stepped on the boat it was evident how much time and preparation it took to get ready for our trip. Owens steller reputation has connections at every stopwe always had someone to pick us up or a rental car available. Owen made the wants and wishes of our son's needs happen everyday with fishing, wakeboarding many snorkeling trips. Joseph deserves his own 5 stars traveling with picky eaters is difficult but he nailed every meal. We looked forward to all his food and company. Thank you both for the most incredible trip.

Favorite memory: the scenery! The water! The crew! The food!It was the trip of a lifetime each island is unique in its beauty, the water so many shades of blue with great snorkeling and swimming.
The crew was amazing captain Owen is always a professional, yet has a great sense of humor he is both firm yet flexible. And Joseph's meals are works of art, they are delicious and presented beautifully, each meal better than the last. His creativity in the tiny galley is astonishing.

AKA ladies trip April 4-11Sailing on the Kasiopeja from island to island was a experience most people never get. I feel so lucky and blessed to have been a part of such a magical time. I loved sailing, snorkeling, seeing so many islands and hearing about them. Captain Owen was so knowledgeable and kind. I felt so safe always. And the meals and conversation by our chef joseph were crazy good. Everything was presented so beautifully and was outstanding in taste. Favorite memory or recommended activity;So hard to choose as we loved everything so much but the Baths, Soggy Dollar, and Anegada were probably the highlights! We also had a great time paddle boarding, and hanging out on the floating pad.

Owen and Joseph absolutely made the trip, period. When we do this trip again, we will do everything we can to sail with those two gentlemen! Owen was responsible, clearly cared for our safety, and his knowledge of the islands (and history) was incredible. Joseph, aka "JoeChef," made the BEST dishes—every meal was amazing. In our opinions, Owen and Joseph are overqualified for that size of boat, hands down. The crew made the trip; the islands, activities, etc., were all great, but the crew was what stood out. We feel like we made friends in the process of taking a vacation. The pace was perfect—Owen let us decide while giving his opinions and recommendations based on weather and safety. Favorite Memory or Activity,We did so many things it's hard to narrow it down to one! We really enjoyed snorkeling with the turtles and heading to Bitter End Yacht Club! Drinking with the beautiful scenery at Soggy Dollar Bar was amazing! A good mix of relaxation, activities, and celebrating!

Favorite Memory or Activity,Everyday was an adventure, so hard to pick just one! Snorkeling in the caves at Norman was awesome - Saw an Octopus!! I have done this trip before without a chef and I can tell you I'll never travel without one again! Our Favorite Memory or Recommended Activity,We had so much fun this week. We loved watching the New Years Eve fireworks and drone show at Necker Island. The drones were amazing! Staying in the North Shore of Virgin Gorda was so beautiful! Our last day in St. John swimming with the sea turtles was so fun!!

Owen has been our “go to” captain for the last six years. He has taken us and our guests on numerous adventures all over the British and US Virgin Islands. We have seen and enjoyed the main sights of the Islands but Owen takes us to the places that not all will bother to go. In the Virgin Islands, when my previous captain was retiring, he pointed to a boat one day on the beach and said “when I leave next year, use that guy.” That Captain was Owen.
